I am a fan of Mid-Century Modern interiors; so naturally when I came across Midcentury Tiny House by Portland-based builder Tiny Heirloom, I wanted to write about it. The Midcentury tiny house on wheels is a beautiful compact dwelling that is a versatile abode for a backyard studio, short-term rental, vacation home, or permanent residence. It has modern appliances, sleek lines, a compact living room with an electric fireplace, a skylight, a spacious loft bedroom, and a cozy rooftop deck.

Built on a 24 ft. dual-axle trailer, the Midcentury tiny house is equipped with solar panels and custom features. The front door opens into the bright kitchen, which features an apartment-sized fridge, induction cooktop, wooden countertops, under-counter cabinets, sink, and storage loft overhead. A big skylight illuminates the kitchen space.

Next is a breakfast bar for two along a window. Opposite that is a dining table to seat two people. Past the eating zone, a compact living room is located. It is equipped with a big side table, couch bed, and an electric fireplace under the storage-integrated staircase leading to the loft bedroom.

Past the living room, a big bathroom is concealed behind a pocket door next to a built-in closet. The bathroom has a rain panel shower, toilet, vanity sink, and a washer/dryer unit.

The bedroom is located above the bathroom. Accessible via the storage-integrated stairs, the loft has plenty of space for a king-size bed and bookcases lining the walls.

A rooftop deck allows the residents to enjoy sunrises and sunsets, along with the gorgeous vistas of wherever you choose to park your mobile house. Priced at $104,000, the Midcentury tiny house is a remarkable home for fans of the style and travel-lovers.

Listening to her grandmother weaving nighttime tales to penning down her own thoughts, Priya developed a penchant for stories and their origin early in her childhood. After her master's in literature, she started writing copiously on diverse topics including architecture, interior design trends, and home improvement while learning the ropes of copyediting. For the past couple of years, she has been crafting DIYs for Homecrux. Reading novels, painting, and baking are her favorites on her long list of hobbies. She also loves to eat, travel, meet new people, learn about different cultures, and listen to stories.
