Most people, which included yours truly until recently, think that Tiny House Listings is only a marketplace for buying and selling micro-dwelling. But the marketplace is also a builder, with stunning models like the Model Tiny to its name. Tiny House Listings has unveiled another model dubbed the Overlook tiny house that measures 24-foot-long and 8-foot-wide. It is a cute little gooseneck-style design with an open floor plan.
The Overlook has a cantilevered space on the rear of the tiny home to accommodate a sleeping loft to fit two people comfortably. The gooseneck loft adds a distinct charm to the layout that embraces open design to include a living space, full kitchen, and bathroom with nary a corner unutilized.
The exterior features LP sheets and pine German siding dotted with black-trimmed vinyl windows and a heavy-duty metal split roof. A white trim glass door opens into the bright interior with cabinet-grade plywood and pine shiplap ceiling and painted nickel gabbed cabinet-grade plywood walls.
On the left side is an unhindered living area, which can be outfitted with a sofa bed for additional sleeping options. Set against a six-foot-wide window, it has two armchairs, a woven bench, a side table, and a ladder to reach the cantilevered loft. It’s my favorite spot in the tiny house on wheels. Even if you are using the living area for its designated purpose, it opens up a lot of configuration and style options.
On the other side is the kitchen. The cooking space is rife with storage cabinets, drawers, and closets, which come in handy for storing various things since there is no other storage space available. It has quartz countertops, a refrigerator, an integrated induction cooktop, a stainless steel sink, and multiple under-counter and overhead cabinets. There is even space for a washer/dryer hookup under the countertop.

Past the kitchen, a bathroom is neatly designed to take care of sanitary requirements. Although compact in footprint, it has a high-quality tiled shower, built-in storage, a flush toilet, and a small wall-mounted vanity.
The brand-new Overlook tiny house is currently on sale on Tiny House Listings marketplace for a price tag of $59,000. Given its sleek façade and luxurious ambiance inside, I’d say the tiny house is better than most available on the market and truly embodies the concept of downsizing.
