North Carolina-based Designer Cottages, a distinguished subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, has created the stunning Saltbox tiny house. The Saltbox is a beautiful dwelling offering 452 sq ft that reimagines classic architecture with modern sensibilities. Although the tiny house only has one bed and one bath, it has a lot more to offer. The Saltbox tiny house provides panoramic 270-degree views thanks to giant floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and bedroom, which sandwich the kitchen and bathroom.

The Saltbox has a rustic cottage appeal with a front and back porch, adding the cherry on top. With a floor plan intended to maximize movement and comfortable spaces designated to lounge, cook, bath, and relax, the micro-dwelling has a split roof design and a gaggle of giant windows bringing in plenty of natural light and gorgeous outdoor views.

The living room has to be the best space in this gorgeous tiny house on foundation. It is flanked by giant windows and French doors. It has plenty of room for a convertible bed, a coffee table, a couple of side tables, and a couple of reading chairs. An L-shaped kitchen and dining area are designed next to the lounge. The section features a stainless steel Summit Appliance 24” range, 4-burner cooktop, 30” refrigerator, and a myriad of overhead and under-counter cabinets.

Down the hall from the kitchen, a small laundry station with a work desk, closet, and bathroom are located. The bathroom has a tiled shower, a toilet, a vanity sink, and storage cabinets.

At the end of the hall is a stunning, light-filled bedroom. It has a king-size bed, a console table, a wall-mounted television, two nightstands, a fold-down table, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a door to the covered porch. Saltbox is a perfect little house for a couple to live their life in a quaint setting. If interested, you can contact the builder to get a customized version of this airy tiny house.
