The tiny house movement in Australia is rapidly growing, driven by housing affordability concerns and a widespread desire for minimalist living. Capitalizing on this momentum, numerous tiny house manufacturers across the country have further popularized the movement by offering affordable, functional dwellings on wheels. One standout example is the Esther tiny house, designed by New South Wales-based micro-dwelling manufacturer CozyCo Tiny Homes.
Mounted on a triple-axle trailer, the Esther measures 29.5 feet long and nine feet wide. Built using “locally sourced, A-grade materials in CozyCo’s workshop,” the exterior features durable Colorbond iron cladding that lends a sleek, modern aesthetic while withstanding the demands of the Australian climate.
Inside, elegant VJ panelling adds warmth and a premium feel without adding unnecessary weight. Similar to CozyCo’s Audrey tiny house, the Esther tiny house prioritizes accessibility and ease of movement, with no lofts or ladders to contend with. The single-level layout comprises a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, the latter separated from the rest of the home by a sliding door.
Starting at the sleeping end, the bedroom comfortably accommodates two people. It features glazed doors that open onto the outdoors, offering privacy alongside generous natural views, while windows on two sides allow light and fresh air to fill the space. Directly opposite the bedroom sits the bathroom, which, true to the modern tiny house philosophy, makes the most of its compact footprint by fitting in a toilet, vanity sink, and glass-enclosed shower.
Sandwiched between the bathroom and the bedroom is an open lounge area. The standout feature here is a strategically placed sofa that faces the views and blurs the boundary between inside and out, aided by glazed entrance doors that seamlessly extend the living space toward the surrounding landscape.

Immediately adjacent to the lounge is the kitchen. The Esther features a dual-sided kitchen layout complete with full-size appliances, ample storage, upper cabinets, and a versatile breakfast bar that doubles as a home office or a dining spot for two.
The home delivers strong thermal efficiency through R2.5 insulation and includes a solar power system sized to run all onboard appliances. Together, these features enable genuine off-grid living, cutting energy costs and environmental impact. The Esther tiny house model is currently available from approximately AUD135,000 (around $95,000), making it a competitively priced option in today’s tiny home market.
