Are you a gaming enthusiast with a fervor for the latest and greatest in gaming; Gamescom, the year’s largest gaming expo just brought next-gen titles, accessories, and gaming gear to enthrall us. Amidst all the exhilaration came the highly anticipated Dream Chair, modeled after the Starfield – action role-playing masterpiece developed by Bethesda Game Studios.

An in-game cockpit is a central element in the Starfield game theme. This presented an opportunity to spark a unique collaboration between sleep specialist TEMPUR and tech giant Microsoft Xbox. The result? A gaming chair unlike any other: the Starfield Dream Chair is meticulously designed to provide Xbox gamers with an unparalleled experience.

At the heart of the Dream Chair lies the iconic TEMPUR memory foam, originally engineered by NASA’s 1960s team to offer optimal support to astronauts. Crafted by the talented UK-based designer and artist Nicholas Alexander, the Dream Chair simulates the feeling of being inside an actual cockpit. As you settle into the Dream Chair, you’ll find yourself surrounded by an array of sci-fi switches, an assortment of dazzling lights, and enigmatic dials, all positioned to replicate the atmosphere of Starfield’s promotional videos.

Marcos Waltenberg, Xbox’s global partnerships director, aptly describes the Dream Chair as a “modular cockpit.” The chair’s unique design allows you to telescopically move forward and backward, enhancing the sensation of commanding your very own starship. The chair’s armrests are equipped with two aluminum joysticks, enabling you to navigate your in-game flight, while the chair mirrors the immersive gameplay of Starfield, making you feel as if you’re were at the helm of a starship embarking on a mission through the cosmos.

But here’s the catch – the Dream Chair is not for sale. It was briefly showcased at the Xbox booth during the Gamescom event. If you missed this extraordinary opportunity, the chair will be the main attraction of the Saturn Xperion store in Germany. A lucky few can get a chance to own this otherworldly gaming chair in a charity raffle.
