The structure features hardy plank siding available in custom colors, a metal shed-style roof, alongside vinyl double-paned impact-resistant windows that run throughout the home.
The interior is furnished with stained pine tongue-and-groove ceilings, pro-grade waterproof vinyl flooring, R13 wall insulation, and a 12,000 BTU ductless mini-split system for efficient year-round climate control. Unlike many tiny homes that rely on lofts to create sleeping space, the Surya places the bedroom on the main level, prioritizing accessibility and everyday convenience.
The bedroom fits a full queen-size bed and features a sliding glass door that opens to the rear of the home, beautifully blurring the line between indoor comfort and outdoor living. Since this is an Airbnb and not a proper dwelling on wheels, the maker has kept things minimal without a wardrobe in the bedroom, and has rather replaced it with a shelf that houses daily essentials.
On the other side of the bedroom is a generous living room that offers enough floor space for a full-size couch or a pull-out daybed, comfortably accommodating up to four people when guests arrive. Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen. It features an apartment-sized stainless-steel refrigerator, a four-burner range with oven, butcher-block counters, and a stackable washer and dryer. Past the kitchen is the bathroom. It comes fitted with a tub or a shower, and includes a vanity, toilet, and ample storage.
