In the hectic modern times people rarely find time to maintain a garden be it outdoors or indoors. The lack of fresh vegetables in the market leads to many health issues. But, what if you can grow fresh organic vegetables at home with a fully automated mini-garden? Modgarden’s tinyFarm thrives to provide you with living, fresh vegetables for your salad and solves the gardening problems for city dwellers.

Anyone can grow vegetables (adults and kids alike) at home using tinyFarm, a modular living organic vegetable growing appliance. This automated system uses a soil-based approach to maintain organic produce, with watering system, adjustable and stackable units along with an app helper with tutorials.

It comes in three sizes – modCoffee, modFloor, and modCounter – each model is stackable, and capable of fitting in small spaces. This appliance provides a chemical-free environment for your vegetables, herbs, and greens. You can grow root vegetables, leafy greens, herbs, and microgreens all year round regardless of the weather.

The smart sensors detect the environment to keep you updated about the progress of growing veggies. The sensors sense the need to water the growing greens and release the required amount of water. All you need to do is to fill the water reservoir when the appliance texts you. The broad-spectrum LED light fulfills the required amount of lighting so you don’t have to move it near a window.

It is made of a reclaimed and repurposed material, a combination of molded plastic, metal, and natural materials, in keeping with its environmentally-friendly mandate. The sleek, minimalist aesthetic of tinyFarm blends functionality with elegant form.

This earth-to-fork, year-round, modular mini-garden can comfortably fit on your kitchen countertop and can expand as your family grows. It allows urban dwellers to experience the process of harvesting their own food and enjoying the benefits of eating organic vegetables.

Modgarden’s tinyFarm Countertop is available for pre-order on their website for a limited period early bird price of $500. It is a revolutionary, nutrient-rich food producer for every home.
