I am pretty sure when Jay Shafer first envisioned a tiny house, he thought of a dwelling that was compact, cheap, and towable. Then came some capitalists, who hijacked the movement and made a mockery of it by turning tiny house living into an Instagramable trend. Luckily, there are still builders out there, who believe in the core philosophy of what a tiny home should be. Australian company Designer Eco Tiny Homes is one of those. The company’s latest creation is 4800NL tiny house on wheels.

Measuring 15.7 feet long and 7.8 feet wide, the 4800NL tiny house is an energy-efficient, eco-friendly, and affordable dwelling. The home is based on a double-axle trailer and capped with skylights. “The versatility of a tiny home, along with affordability allows us to create environmentally sustainable building solutions for a wider range of people. With modern transportation, we can now offer these incredible housing solutions for the whole of Australia, and even beyond,” mentions the company.

Looking at the design, the tiny house boasts a light-filled interior. There is glazing everywhere to keep the interior thoroughly bright and airy. A glass door welcomes you to the kitchen that features a countertop, cabinets, sink, and a range of electrical appliances from an induction cooktop to a bar refrigerator.

Other features include overhead cabinets, shelves, and drawers that help in storing the nitty-gritty essentials. Elsewhere is the small bathroom. It has a shower, a vanity, and a toilet. Not to mention, two skylights that allow daylight to penetrate inside.

The bedroom occupies most of the space in the dwelling. Sleeping two people in a breeze, it also sports extra storage beneath. Priced at $74,900 the 4800NL is slated a release by the end of January, but you can pre-book your order at the official website of the maker.
