If you are a regular tiny house follower, you must have heard of MitchCraft Tiny Homes. The Colorado-based tiny house manufacturer is renowned for incorporating clever design features inside its mobile homes. Seeking one such tiny house from the MitchCraft galleries, my eyes stood by Francelia’s tiny house that was designed back in 2018.

Measuring 24 feet long and eight-feet wide, the tiny house is built on a double-axle trailer and comes finished in vertical and horizontal wood crafting. Upon entering inside, you’d find a storage cabinet that is ideal for placing shoes or hanging coats. Up ahead is the living room, which comes equipped with a three-seater couch.

Adjacent to the couch is a storage-integrated bench that can seat a few more people. Above the bench lies a couple of overhead shelves where you can place decorative items. MitchCraft Tiny Homes has also added a wood stove that will keep the occupant warm during cold nights. From here, we move to the kitchen which features wooden cabinets to stock essentials including utensils and groceries. MitchCraft has also designated functional spaces for appliances such as an oven or a full-size fridge.

The kitchen also features a four-burner gas stove, a sink, tons of cabinets, and ample countertop space. Opposite the counter lies the breakfast bar for two, which doubles as a workspace. Next, we have the full bathroom that includes a corner shower, a sink, and a toilet.

While most tiny house makers have now inculcated the idea of accommodating two-or-three bedrooms in their micro dwelling but MitchCraft back in the day choose to keep it simple with a single bedroom. Accessed via a set of storage-integrated stairs, the bedroom is comfortable for a couple. The tiny house also features another loft that lies above the living room and can be reached via a removable ladder. However, this particular loft is mainly suitable for storage or maybe doubled into a small playroom for kids.
