When it comes to buying a tiny house on wheels (THOW) for you and your family, reputation matters. I am pretty sure you’d hunt for a builder who can offer quality design at a bargain basement. While Acorn Tiny Homes and Modern Tiny Living are some manufacturers you can rely on in terms of quality, but they generally charge a hefty amount in return. This is why builders like Indigo River Tiny Homes should be on your speed dial. Building THOW since 2017 in North Texas, Indigo River Tiny Homes not only provides supreme quality but also offers base shells costing a lot less than the aforementioned manufacturers.

Abigail Tiny House by Indigo River Tiny Homes recently caught my attention. Built on a triple-axle trailer, the tiny house measures 28 feet long and comes finished in cedar accents. Other than the main door, the tiny house also features a sliding patio door which functions as the second entry to the house. The tiny house is airy and bright, courtesy of large windows which keep the interior fresh all the time.

Upon entering the house, you are graced with an open living room featuring a full-size sofa that faces a television mounted on the wall (though not included in the pictures). The living room has a pop-up dining bar that can be utilized as an office desk too.

Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen of the tiny house. Boasting solid oak butcher block counters with custom cabinetry, the kitchen looks magnificent and is storage-friendly. Other notable highlights of the kitchen are a 24-inch porcelain farmhouse sink alongside a range of appliances from fridge/freezer to a two-burner cooktop and a full-size oven. The bathroom of the tiny house lies on the opposite side of the living room. It features a full-size tub and flush toilet. Not to mention, a laundry cove with an all-in-one washer/dryer.

Just like any other tiny house, Abigail has one stand-up loft bedroom. Abigail’s loft bedroom can be accessed via a storage staircase that comes with toe-kick drawers. This has been done to maximize every inch of space. The stand-up loft bedroom is not a common feature in maximum tiny houses but Indigo River Tiny Homes wanted to prioritize user convenience and went on with the stand-up loft, hence allowing users to not dunk every time they want to access an item from the bedroom.
