Christopher Duffy of British design studio Duffy London has been making innovative and quirky furniture pieces for years. The Abyss table replicating the natural beauty of water body is one of his most acclaimed designs. Expanding his Abyss collection, he has created Abyss Wall Relief – a decorative wall fixture that mimics depths of the sea and an abyss that gazes back.

Just like the Abyss table, the abyss wall sculpture having a diameter of 90 cm and 12 cm height also materializes a deep blue sea with multiple layers of wood and glass. There are intricate topographies carved on the timber base, adding amazing visuals to the top surface.

Available for £9,800 ($13,650) in a limited edition of only 25 units, the abyssal wall sculpture instantly takes your mind to ancient stories of a flat earth.

There are creative artists and designers like Greg Klassen and John Malecki, who are using glass and wood to create beautiful ocean-inspired designs.
