If you feel that normal On/Off switches on light fixtures are too mainstream, you need rlon L3 table lamp in your house. It’s an inviting light with mysterious qualities and likely to be a conversation starter too. The lamp is designed with a stonelike dark monolith platform, ring-shaped light, and metallic sphere that acts as it’s “On/Off” switch.

Bringing minimalist design to whole new level, rlon L3 light fixture interacts with the user in a poetic and playful way. The metallic sphere or the unique switch of this lamp is its highlighting feature, which reflects aesthetic quality and energy source of the system.

The sphere’s weight invites you to play and give a tactile feel to the light that’s controlled by sliding this metal ball on top of the monolith platform. If you shift it towards the light, it will illuminate the ring. On the other hand, shifting it away will shut it off.

The brightness can also be adjusted by a dimmer on the back, making it a perfect nightstand when needed. The movement of the sphere on the platform feels poetic as its journey of darkness to illumination.

With the light ring measuring 270 mm diameter, the light takes up to 32 watts and gives out <2400 luminous flux. If you want this unique table lamp to be the centerpiece of your home, you can purchase it online for $1,670 USD.
