Australia’s towing laws are relatively lenient compared to those of European nations. This not only grants Australian tiny home manufacturers an edge to construct longer and taller tiny homes but also permits them to create mobile dwellings that are slightly wider. A case in point is the Marrakai tiny house. Designed by Melbourne-based tiny home manufacturer Iconic Tiny Homes, this mobile home spans 34.4 feet in length and 9.8 feet in width.

Standing 14.1 feet high, the single-story tiny home comes poised on a triple-axle trailer and boasts a high-pitched gable roofline, resulting in a bright, expansive interior. Contrary to the light interior, the exterior of the Marrakai tiny house exudes ruggedness and darkness, courtesy of Colorbond steel cladding.

Iconic Tiny Homes has used aluminum low E-Glass for doors and windows. The floor-to-ceiling glazing lends the tiny home a distinctive look that helps it stand out from the considerable catalog of similarly-sized tiny houses by the builder. Inside, the home is adorned with Easycraft MDF lining and hybrid timber laminate flooring.

Visitors enter into the kitchen, which includes cabinets, a microwave, a dishwasher, a two-burner propane stove, a fridge, and a sink. Adjacent is the living room of the house which features a sofa, pouf, and television. In addition to basic furnishings and necessary appliances, the tiny home has large glazing flooding the space with natural light.

The roomy single-story model is ideal for families as a permanent residence or long-term guest accommodation. Past the kitchen lies the bathroom of the Marrakai. It has a vanity sink, a shower cabin, a toilet, and washer/dryer unit. The bedroom is at the end of the house and sleeps two people in a breeze. Although it seems compact, the bedroom has two floating nightstands and a wardrobe.

Marrakai tiny house draws power from a standard RV-style hookup. It has insulated floors with STRUCTAFLOR Yellow Tongue, Earthwool R-2.5 sound shield in the walls, and wood fiber in the ceiling. Priced at AUD145,000, the Marrakai tiny house can be availed from the company’s official website. Ideal for families as a permanent residence or long-term guest accommodation, the roomy single-story model offers a blend of luxury, functionality, and mobility.
