People who have been following the tiny house movement for years know for sure that Minimaliste is one of the best tiny house manufacturers across the globe, if not the best. The Quebec-based tiny house company has infused a breath of fresh air into the housing industry with its spacious and gorgeous micro dwellings. The company’s Nomad series especially stands out from conventional recreational vehicles, courtesy of its robustness and durability. Expanding the series further, Minimaliste now introduces you to Nomad 30 tiny house, which is bigger and better than its previous iterations.

According to the tiny house builder, “The 30ft Nomad is the longest version in the Nomad series. It not only has the same durability and toughness as the 24ft, 28ft, and 30ft 5th wheel but also offers extra space inside.” Built on a double-axle trailer, the tiny house is compact but optimized and radiates a warm and cozy vibe. It comprises an exterior that boasts two different types of steel: black vertical steel sheets and woodgrain imitation steel cladding. “The woodgrain imitation is maintenance free and UV resistant while the other type of steel only requires a verification on the fasteners seals every year,” the company elaborates.

Adding cherry on top, the tiny house can also be equipped with off-grid features, with the likes of solar panels and water tanks. A fold-down metal deck, which comes with integrated stairs, leads you inside the house. Most tiny houses have a leveler to pull down the deck but Minimaliste prevents you from that hassle and offers a remote control for maximum ease of use.

Upon entering inside you’d spot a closet on the left hand that is ideal for housing your coats and boots. Adjacent to the closet is a pull-out couch that easily sleeps two people. You can even binge-watch your favorite programs lying on the cozy couch that faces an LED fixed on the wall. Walk a bit further to find the kitchen of the tiny house. It faces a dinette that seats 4 people and turns into a berth to sleep an extra man. Both the dinette and the kitchen countertop are wood laminate and they match the other wood accents in the home.

The kitchen has high-quality appliances ranging from a Furrion 12V refrigerator and Furrion propane range/oven. Stacked underneath the countertop is a two-in-one washer/dryer combo. Despite the small space, there are plenty of cabinets available for storage. Not to mention, a microwave that is installed on a pull-out tray in the tall pantry next to the fridge. Next, we have the bathroom of the tiny house. There is nothing much in particular to talk about it, so I’d just give a passing reference statement, it includes a shower, toilet, and a sink.

Finally, we have the bedroom at the back end of the house. The master bedroom is quite spacious and comes accoutered with a standard queen-size bed with storage underneath. The bedroom is also bright and airy, thanks to large glazing allowing a decent amount of light and air to penetrate inside. The tiny house is available for purchase at the official website of Minimaliste and will cost you around $91,500. I’d never have a flat roof. Water just sits there.

Glad I stumbled on to your site, wish I would have sooner.
Designing and putting a tiny house together presents challenges and opportunities at every step of the way. To me those who can do so with creativity yet simplicity and above all economically, have my admiration and respect.
I’m still working on my first and have no electricity where I’m building it so the big generator I’m using is getting costly as I am only one man but other than that I’m having an absolute blast and would love to incorporate ideas from your experienced builds.
