Indoor gardening is a growing trend. After recurrent lockdowns during the pandemic, people pursued it more as a favorite stay-at-home hobby. If you like growing plants indoors but do not have any experience, abby Smart Hydroponic Grow Box might be an ideal solution for you to grow your own foods or maybe your favorite weed strain easily inside your home. It is designed with a novice in mind.

abby is an all-in-one smart hydroponic grow box that takes care of sunlight, water, and air for optimal plant growth in a single unit. The appliance mimics the sunlight with Samsung’s LM301H LED Grow Light paired with advanced algorithms. It is also equipped with specialized sensors to let users monitor environmental conditions and plant growth with the companion mobile app.

About the size of a side table, abby is much-like the Grobo hydroponic indoor planter launched a few years ago. As from its pictures, it is a plug-and-grow device that can grow one plant at a time.

It has a three gallon water tank that needs to be changed every week. Each unit has two intake fans and two exhaust fans that constantly circulate the air inside. The appliance also uses a dual carbon filter to prevent odors from entering the living space.

abby comes in a ready-to-use package and there is no assembly required. You can start growing veggies or herbs instantly after it has been set up effortlessly since no previous experience is required to get started with it.

It can grow plants from either a seed or a clone but the latter is recommended by the makers. The mobile app offers professional help in case you require guidance with your gardening.

The abby smart hydroponic grow box is currently up for crowd-funding on Kickstarter. If you wish to buy, you can pledge its campaign for a minimum of $799 to get one in June 2022.

LG also teased the Tiiun Smart Indoor Garden Concept at CES earlier this year.
