Offers a deceptively larger-than-life footprint within 39 feet

Canadian builder Rover Tiny Homes is credited with some of the best micro-dwellings designed in the country, whether it is light-bathed Silvertip, reverse-loft Hornby, or extra-large Cypress. The company knows that multifunctional or modular spaces are key to making micro-dwelling larger than life; something it has done with its Pender tiny house. The Pender is a 39-foot-long compact house that comes with multiple slide-outs to break free of space constraints.

The micro-dwelling offers a generous layout without skimping on quality, comfort, or aesthetics. It is one of the company’s slightly larger dwellings, right there with the Breckenridge, Elkhorn, and Hemlock, all of which provided incredible structural integrity to withstand the toughest climates in the Great White North. A trait passed down to the Pender.

The Pender tiny house can be configured with one or two bedrooms. It is a single-floor dwelling with a spacious living area, functional kitchen, and full bathroom. Every nook in here is designed for comfortable, effortless everyday living.

There are three slide-outs to facilitate luxury living in a compact footprint. The slide-outs help create a roomier interior with tongue-and-groove pine ceilings, high-efficiency insulation, and a fully winterized build. Since it comes built on a triple-axle trailer, moving is easy, whether you want it for full-time living or recreational use with complete flexibility.

There are two entrances to the Pender: French doors opening into the living area and a single glass door opening on the other end for direct access to the bathroom. Both the bedrooms and the living area feature the slide-outs to maximize space for family living. The dwelling is dotted with a gaggle of windows to keep the interior naturally lit and well-ventilated.

The open-plan living area and kitchen create a nice flow of design movement. The fully stocked kitchen includes quartz countertops, custom-built slow-close cabinets, a four-burner cooktop, an oven, a range hood, and a refrigerator. There is no dearth of storage in the kitchen to facilitate organization and a clean space.

Next to the kitchen is the bathroom and space for another bedroom. The queen-size bedroom can also include a couple of nightstands. The bathroom has been kept rather compact to accommodate the additional bedroom. It includes a built-in tub, shower, vanity sink, and toilet.

The second bedroom is past the living area. It includes a full closet with sliding doors and has a king-size layout. Each room comes with privacy doors. The living area is big enough to fit in a convertible couch, a coffee table, and a small dining table. There is even a built-in wood stove to keep the space nice and cozy, and there is a mini split unit as well.

Priced at CAD169,900 (roughly $123,000), the Pender tiny house can be customized according to your needs. The Pender, with its three slide-outs, expands the living spaces beyond expectations, making it perfect for family living.
